# Create a Proposal

### Step 1 : Select the House

Navigate to the house you want to create a proposal for.&#x20;

You need to join the house to be able to create a proposal.

### Step 2 : Fill in the deets

1. Provide the details needed for creating a proposal:

* Title&#x20;
* Description
* Voting Type
* Voting Period
* Tags(optional)
* Link Discussion(optional)

### Step 3 : Save and Preview

Review details of your proposal carefully and once everything seems good, click on Create Proposal button&#x20;

### Your proposal is now live on Townhall! Share with your network and invite them to vote!
